Greetings and welcome to Victory Music! By your interest and participation in Victory Music, you are helping to keep alive a tradition that was started in 1969. To learn more about what we do, please read on! Victory Open MicsVictory Music currently hosts four Open Mics every week. You'll find our friendly volunteers and acoustic music from fledgling to fantastic at each event. While each of our Open Mics develops a unique personality, they all strive to create a supportive, listening atmosphere for both musician and listener. If this is your first time at one of our events, here's how to look like a native: give quiet attention to the musicians on stage - if you want to have conversation, please do so outside or in a low voice away from other audience members. If you are a musician, please pay attention to your place on The List. Don't make the emcee look for you and please do heed the time limits for the evening. This helps to ensure that everyone gets his or her fair share of stage time. Please give your support to your fellow musicians by staying to listen. You might learn something! Victory ReviewVictory Music has maintained a strong commitment to local musicians since its inception in 1969. In addition to providing performance and networking opportunities at our Open Mics, we have published the Victory Review since 1974. This magazine contains acoustic music reviews of CDs from the world over; columns and features on Northwest musicians; and a calendar of NW acoustic music events. Now we are publishing the Victory Review online only! Want to know who's who and what's what in the NW acoustic music scene? Get the Review!
